This project involved the retention and conversion of the old snooker hall with new build hotel behind and provision of car parking at the rear.

Services highlights:

  • Due diligence site survey

  • Planning support including thermal modelling and energy strategy report

  • Complete scheme design of all building services (heating/cooling, ventilation, domestic water services, public health, power, lighting, fire detection and data services)

  • Review and monitoring of contractor design and installation 

  • Building incorporated Combined Heat and Power with large thermal storage to generate proportion of the site’s hot water demands

  • Inclusion of high efficiency air source heat pumps with heat recovery
